We founded New Direction Living out of a deeply personal commitment to Schenectady and Albany County and a belief that everyone deserves a safe place to heal. Our journey began with a vision to create a sober environment that bridges the gap between treatment and independence, providing the stability and peer support I know are vital for lasting recovery. We are dedicated to fostering a community where growth and new beginnings are possible for every resident, helping them build the necessary skills for long-term stability and success.
